Delete Your Distill Account

You can request deletion of your Distill account and its data at any time. Distill doesn't yet have a self-service delete-account button in the app, so requests are handled manually — see below for what happens and how long it takes.

How to request deletion

Email us from the address associated with your account (or tell us which email/sign-in method you used) at:

What gets deleted

• Your authentication identity (account ID, and email address if applicable)
• Your credit balance and purchase history stored in Distill's database
• Any document you chose to retain via the "Keep original file" toggle

What isn't automatically deleted

• Stripe retains its own transaction records for completed web purchases, governed by Stripe's privacy policy — Distill doesn't control this data once a payment is processed.
• Apple/Google retain their own purchase records for in-app purchases made through iOS/Android, governed by their respective policies.

Turnaround time

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of receiving your email.
